Now remember this is dated Aug.4 2004....A complete filing of their most recent Q's numbers! CCBN released these numbers via Yahoo etc. TODAY Aug. 6th....

They filed their 10-Q on Friday, Aug.6, but their results for the 2ndQ(Jun.) were announced on July 20 and were attached as Exhibit 99 to their 8-K, which was filed on July 28.<g>

Earnings were up 12% ($0.29 vs. $0.26) and revenues up 6% (14.4M vs. 13.6M) EE for 2004 are around $1.20 vs. $1.01 in 2003 and EE for 2005 are around $1.38.The insider's have done some selling lately after exercise of some cheap options.<g>

SALINAS, CA--(MARKET WIRE)--Jul 20, 2004 -- Central Coast Bancorp (NasdaqNM:CCBN - News), the holding company for Community Bank of Central California, today announced record quarterly net income of $3,260,000 for the second quarter of 2004. Net income increased 13.0% over the $2,884,000 reported for the second quarter of 2003. Diluted earnings per share for the second quarter of 2004 increased 16.0% to $0.29 from $0.25 in the prior year period. The annualized return on average equity (ROAE) and the return on average assets (ROAA) for the second quarter of 2004 were 14.3% and 1.27% as compared to 14.0% and 1.26% for the same period in 2003.
