I'm for Kerry and McCain to unify this country. If you call them leftwing, then what does that say about you?
Kerry has the exact same defense budget voting record as Zell Miller, is more fiscally conservative than Bush and is for strong common sense solutions. If they favor average people over the super rich, fine. That's what democracies should be about.
I don't admire or follow a single leftwinger, though I admit, compared to rightwingers those on the left are a lot more honest. Not always right, but much more honest. For instance Michael Moore is a lot more honest that the SWiftVets. Moore hired a top fact-checker for his film and you won't find a single lie in it. With the SwiftVets you can't find a single fact except extremist opinions.
Another thing, the term "leftwing" is really outdated. There are very few old-fashioned liberals around anymore, especially in powerful positions. Outside of the Bay Area, Vermont and some black districts you won't find many of them at all. Since I worked with the Kerry campaign I can also tell you, except the Kennedy the lefties all went with Dean, we got the centrists. Feinstein, Ford, Biden, etc. These were the Kerry supporters, all centrists.
Today's rightwing is the most dishonest and divisive bunch of dirty tricksters and cheats I've ever seen in my life. They really are bad for America, our economy, the world and the physical environment. Bush-Cheney I believe is really a front for a massive military, oil and industrial ripoff operation based in Texas. Their target is our treasury and our consumers. Just follow the money and you'll see what's really happening. Historic high gas prices are just the tip of the iceberg.
Therefore, this is the first campaign I've ever gotten involved in, and there are millions like me. We are fighting hard and true, and we will end the near tryranny of this rightwing regime in DC. Kerry-Edwards is a fantastic centrist ticket and they are both fighters and winners. They will unite this country to a large degree and make us all proud. |
