The people who dissed the Vietnam vets are over on the President George W. Bush thread. They're the people who didn't protest and didn't go, the chickenhawks who felt the Vietnam vets had "lost" the Vietnam war, and thereby "shamed" America. They're the kind of people who believe "my country right or wrong" - as long as it isn't THEM getting shot at. In a democracy, it's your duty to make sure your country is RIGHT. If it's some poor shlub draftee - he should die for his country and keep his mouth shut, according to the chickenhawks. John Kerry didn't, and he was a patriot not to. I don't know one person who dissed Vietnam vets that protested the war.
