Hi Dave and Web,

I have no position in either Brks or Asyt.

I'm the lucky seller of Asyt in 99 in the 30's.That after buying it @13-15 and watching it drop to the 5 range. So I am totally qualified to speak out about what it is like to have Asyt as a loser.

1) I was not very comfortable with Parikh - he was out for himself - I'm glad he's gone. But with him also has gone Asyt's balance sheet.

The move to manufacture everything overseas has been a similar move made by companies desparate to exist (cost saving strategy like Mcti or Egls). Not a good track record.

I like Brks for their financials and what I think may be better technology - one that doesn't require going overseas.

It seems there solid financials and perhaps relationship are holding them together. If you were to build a 3 billion plus fab - you'd want the repair guy to be getting a good paycheck.

Brks has always been the nich leader of automation and I've viewed Asyt to be the smaller player that out PR'd BRKS.

If I was going to buy into this sector - it would be Brks. They seem to be on top of 300mm globally vs regionally.

FWIW

Bob
