Clearly, Kerry's behavior shows that he was thinking about this presidential run way before he even got elected senator. I saw a rerun of an early interview when he was just out of the military. Asked if he wanted to be president, he denied it. Unconvincingly. Welcome to our presidential election antics, northern neighbor. I'm sure it must be amusing. You Canadians seem to elect people without too much fanfare.
