Jim, well this statement of yours I do disagree with; <<I would give 90% blame to Greensleeves, 10% Bushy Mankiw>> Greenspan did not push through the tax cuts that have mushroomed the deficit again. Furthermore the President has a lot of power over Greenspan if he wants to use it - he didn't. It is the role of a President to lead. If America is going down the wrong path the President can - indeed should - use the bully pulpit to turn the ship towards shore. Turning the ship towards the hurricane all the time whistling yohoho, does NOT give you a pass of 10% culpability as Commander and Chief. Respectfully; steve
