Well, let us see Bush having the guts to do this and honor our vets.

Kerry was very quick to dissociate himself in no uncertain way the comment of his colleague Howard Dean that this president is playing politics with the warnings. This man who Bush ads have accused of being a flip flop came out very clearly against Dean.

John McCain, a respected veteran and a supporter of Bush (not his opponent) has said very clearly that the White House needs to come out and say in very clear terms that they do not agree or approve (use Kerry's words is what I say) with the SwiftBoat ad. We will decide on not what Bush or Kerry and his cronies say or do.

But we are going to decide on what they, the two candidates themselves do. Kerry has shown what sort of a decisive person he is when it is required of him. Let us see Bush show that.

My Pet Goat. What do you do in the spur of the moment of crisis. Do you order your SwiftBoat folks to turn around in spite of enemy fire to pull Mr. Rassmann out of the water or do you sit around and read My Pet Goat but have your mind elsewhere with eyes rolling wondering what do I do next.

In the early 70's a young man failed to make a quick decision. He faltered and hence lost a chance on being the President. The place Chappaquidick, the man.....(never mind, you know who). That was for a event which was personal.

In 2001, there was another man who had to make a decision on the spur of the moment. But the difference is that this event involved the nation and his leadership. What did he do? Sould it cost him the Presidency? You decide? Why not if that is what happened with Chappaquidick.
