Bob, not what I asked. Sure the AAII data has some importance but not enough. The really important bull to bear survey is the Investors Intelligence Poll. Bob, I like you. I like everyone who posts here. My intention is not so much to influence you to trade any differently than you have done in the past but to simply make you ask yourself some questions about when you should buy as a cyclical investor and when should you take profits?

I don't think we will ever agree completely but until you actually follow the links I provide and really look hard at the charts you will have limited your potential for investment success.

I will become a long term investor as close to the next bottom as I can time it. The rally that started in October 2002 is over. The trend is down.

Can I get anyone who reads this thread to agree with that simple fact?
