What do you think Bush should have done in those 7 minutes that would have made any difference? BTW, the reading began about 9:07. He was informed by an aide that a second tower had been hit after the reading began. He'd been informed of the first plane hitting a building earlier and had thought it was some sort of accident. I think we all know that if Bush had jumped up immediately and left the school, the same people pretending to be horrified about the 7 minutes listening to children read would pretend to be horrified that he paniced and ran as soon as he got word of the attacks.
