cirrus, Your post to me is not clear. My point is that john kerry cannot piously say he is running a positive campaign while the whole support organization is down in the gutter. Sadly it is ugly now and going to get worse. Frankly, I think kerry actually realizes that the negatives went to far - ergo - the effort to tone down the convention. I see this as a influence of Edwards. Edwards knows that the road to success is not a message of hate. My comfort is that the looney left part of the dems will never be able to tone it down for long!
