Caution, Iso, is good advice here...

As you suggest, with the auction and the FED meeting support for the dollar will probably be given where it is most visible...selling gold..Truly when the Asians stop buying out debt the game will be over...but that might be so gradual we (at least I) won't see it until its some ways along.

Being only 17% long metals / miners and with my work on GOLD showing that as of Friday a number of buy signals were set off, I have to add...Getting out above $406 will be key. NEM and CEF are the least volatile in my flock, hence my move today was pretty minor. Probably buy more after the 1/4 point hike tomorrow, though that is as likely to be at higher prices than not, as I suspect the "tempered pace" of further increases will be the highlight of the FED's announcement, and what will get the markets' focus.
