Brinker ever proves his consummate class and uncommon stripe. Today, one Mike from New Orleans offered an apparently salient point of view on the minimum wage issue to which Brinker agreed, but then Mike proceeded to disgrace himself utterly with a sudden, unprovoked, and vicious ad hominem attack on Rush Limbaugh. Spewing copious verbal venom worthy of a swamp adder, Mike launched into a long winded and seemingly absurd tirade in which Rush Limbaugh's weight and girth became the focal point of his political/economic disagree- ment. It was evident to all with minds to think that Mike was merely exploiting Brinker's show as a platform for unrefined, unattenuated, ignorant hate. Brinker, ever the gentleman and scholar, allowed this bag of toxic windage to run his course. After which, Brinker politely replied, "Mike, I think you made a good economic point." Click.
