Nope or Rats don't talk. They're absolutely silent, except when play-fighting. Then they make tiny squeaks. If Graystonette really wants a parrot some years in the future, she should consider an Eclectus. They're fantastically beautiful. The females are red and blue, the males are green and blue. You can find pix online. They're just amazing.
