We tested a new low on Friday. I was tempted to buy, but the coin
came up heads.

Just to complete the picture on the other wireless cable providers :

Susbscriber Count on 6/30/97 12/31/96 6/30/96
-------------------- ------- --------- --------
Company
-------
WIRL 100,640 69,825 -
ATEL 169,000 179,800 178,000
CAWS 75,200 - 79,300

CAWS and ATEL have made the decision to de-emphasize the analog
wireless cable TV market, and begin looking into digital applications.
WIRL, like HART, appears to be sticking with their original charter.
WIRL was able to add subscribers in each of its 34 markets (only two
new launches in first six mo. of '97).

All the wireless cable TV companies are at a crossroad trying to
determine when to make the switch to digital and how quickly to
switch over. In the meantime, they may take some small solace in the
knowledge that their MMDS spectrum may be worth quite a bit more than
what shows up on their balance sheets.
