Frankly, I am shocked how the polls have reversed on Bush's handling of the war. I was more shocked how patriotically the nation responded to the voracious acts of war. I did not pretend to think that Bush would find any WMD at the time that we decided to take Saddam out of office. I think he was a murderous leader that needed to be relieved of his office. Saddam was given every opportunity to comply with US Weapons inspectors. I guess he didn't want the whole world to know that his entire defense was smoke and mirrors. As for the real battle that is going on now, I guess it's best that we let the Iraqi's deal with their own internal problems.
