Don, you made a concise but powerful rational. It seems to support Cymer's observation that most step/scanners likely to be used in 300mm for large chips and which is 3 years away. Who knows by that time competitions may have more reliable and productive machines and suck away the volume. I have doubt about the 500 number all goes to SVGI. It is one thing to have a high end machine (engineering marvel) and another to have a workhorse that most other fabs want to buy. Intel is the exception that she can afford to spend the money for high end machines. Just my 2 cents.
