i didn't see anything political in m1's post. maybe i'm just getting more tolerant with age...<g> i have a kid in that education system (<gasp>, i'm sure you thought i'd send them to conservative private school) and if the parents aren't vigilant, that's exactly what happens...it gets "dumbed-down". i don't think that's a political statement, but rather a social statement. now, if he starts pointing to a political party being at fault for such, then we'll have to tar and feather him! heck, we'll just hang 'em high! <g> now, on to more important things... anyone hear anything from bear sterns...? or is the analyst just a panda? (eats, shoots and leaves) <G> will be listening intently to csco's call this afternoon for the tone of the sector, but also to catch any possible discussion of component costs/ potential shortages. by the way, i just heard where asian dvd makers are only making $1/dvd player. i sure hope the margins stay wider on optical components.
