I will see if I still have my old copy, but if memory serves the feds were concerned with the ramifications of the Hunt's literally cornering the silver market and proceeded to change the rules so that the Bros. needed to pony up more capital for their margined position in order to sustain it. They could not and were ultimately undone. Feds may have pressured Exchange to change the rule (and rule may have applied to 'all'), but in any event it was changed and affected Hunts directly, ex post the would-be corner! RO
