Hell yes, you don't want to tick off the CIA, even if you are the President of the United States. JFK paid the ultimate price for his efforts to confront the emerging CIA-led military state in the United States. Bush knows better than to get too far out line with those who pull the strings (i.e. the CIA and their wealthy elite allies, his constituents). It was more likely just blundering on their part, or perhaps a calculated blunder to ensure that they don't weaken Al Queda too much. Al Queda are the useful idiots for the military industrial complex. What would they do without them? No more Al Queda boogeymen to justify their budgets. Hell, they might have to declare peace and actually reinvest in our country for a change. They can't let that sort of sensible thinking enter the minds of the average Americans. No, Americans must focus on external threats and support the military police state. America Uber Alles!
