Given the experience with NOVL, the gloom and doom talked about NOVL on SI (nothing here is comparable with that talked about NOVL), and the vow by many to dump the stock on Friday, the stock slid to just 7 1/2 on Friday from 8 1/8 on Thursday. IMO, the fundamentals for NOVL are really terrible and I believed and still believe that this company has no future, unless they come up with a different course of action. The value of the company in terms of tangible assets is reported as 4.5, but I believe that should be substantially discounted because of reporting.
The reason I am describing NOVL here is that despite all these real problems and publicity, NOVL dropped only 7.7%, but regained all of the loss and increased by 1/4 (3.1%) by the close of Friday eventhough the market was bad for techstocks.
IMO, FIBR may drop to 5 1/2, but will regain to reach about 6 1/2 (if not more) by tomorrow's close because all the short-sellers have a sufficiently good idea for the great earnings report and will begin to cover their position.
I may be wrong (no one can consistently predict the market accurately), but I have not goofed up yet about the fundamental analysis of a stock. FIBR will be a good experience for me if I have made an error choosing it and I will hold this stock to at least gain the valuable experience of risk and return.
