Whoever wrote the piece you posted needs help with their sentence structure. What a lousy way {EDIT} to write! I assume that CSCO's 2nd qtr inventory went up 20%, so that when the current qtr's inventory rose another 9%, it may be a concern to "some investors". CSCO sales were up 5.5% sequentially - above the 3% to 5% guidance. What does the 2.2 billion write-off in 2001 have to do with anything (except to stir up unwarranted fear of another write-off)?
