Aaron:

I've held PepsiCo stock for 11 years and have been through 3/1 and 2/1 splits. I've also sat back the last year or so and watched the stock do nothing while Coke kicked ass! This was mainly due to poor overseas planning and a major loss of an important bottler in Venuzuala. I'm sure there are other factors(private lable, new wave beverages, etc.) I did not mention.

Diversification was great for PepsiCo 15 years ago, but times have changed. As a streamlined company comprised of just Pepsi & Frito-Lay, the new PepsiCo should run up to 60 in the not to distant future. Pepsi has a new attitude around the world and Frito-Lay is one of the best run companies in the world with no REAL competition!
