Ann, I can handle the truth. I posted links from both partisan and non-partisan groups that show the allegations are at best dubious and the Ad outright misleading.

I believe (and fervently hope) that most Americans will respond to the Ad the way John McCain, Tommy Franks and many others have reacted - with disdain.

"Most of the people banned from this thread engaged in personal attacks on a repeated basis. But lately we have banned some posters for smearing John Kerry.

At this time the purpose of this thread is to bring together those of us working to elect John Kerry as our next President. Now, just as in the real world, when I encounter a Bush supporter on SI, I just wish them well and move on. The time for debate with the "decided" has passed.

I use this thread for information and to motivate myself and other Kerry supporters. Only in the real world am I looking to find the elusive "undecided" voters, there are none on SI.

Hopefully the enmity that has developed during this election year will be forgotten in the future, especially on SI."
