[ Barrons ]

To all .....Just my take on this as I have been looking at this stock & considering an investment.

1) Barron's is a very reputable fin'l mag and while they don't always present both sides of the story they are very seldom wrong. I have done well heeding their advice in the past. I've also owned some stocks that they have dissed ( CNXS, AURA ) and I too felt like some posters here ... denied the obvious and found myself sitting months later invested in a stock going no where soon ( dead money ). True, some short probably gave Barron's the heads-up on this company but you can be sure Barron's did their due diligence!

2) I just read a full transcript of the MCI deal and find that press release to be very misleading. In talking about the $ size of the deal with MCI one is led to believe that the numbers refer to FIBR. No where did they present estimates of future revenues to FIBR. Press releases can be very manipulating.

3) Accounting...if one increases write offs ( depreciation, R&D ) it has the effect of increasing cash flow while reducing net income. Anyone that has investment/rental property can tell you the positive nature it provides when reporting to uncle sam. If this was done w/o CPA's approval, we may hear that the CPA's are withdrawing themselves as accountants for FIBR shortly. If they stand pat, that would be a positive.

4) I've been waiting for a buying opportunity but this is more than I bargained for...I'll remain a lurker! I don't recommend selling @ open when most damage will be done, as this will surely gap down on "cover story". One should consider selling into strength or if you really have guts try to buy @ bottom when shorts start to cover and ride it up to cut your losses. After that I think this will be dead money for some time and suggest finding another stock with positive momentum.

5) While I agree that there are some excellent board members ( I made lots on CYE [cheyanne software] a company that also had Eli Oxenberg (spelling?) as an Officer) I would refrain from buying unless the board dumped present management and installed new people or even Eli himself. Then I would take another look....

Just my thoughts....I could be wrong though!

ps: lisa, your comments about being part of a large investment pool and getting info from Mr Big are starting to sound like hype or fear. you are loosing credibility with me as a small, innocent investor.
