stockman. you posted....." Mellencamp wants to unseat Bush "...... suntimes.com And why exactly is it important what mellencamp wants?....he is an entertainer using his access to the media to further his agenda. Why do so many here depend on actors or singers telling them what to think? Do you believe that mellencamp and other mere actors are qualified to to tell you how to vote? and more important do you need these kind of people to tell you how to think? I wonder when/if all star wrestling will start using air time to help people decide how to vote? IMO it is a sad situation when the most powerful democartic country on earth allows actors/pretenders to sway elections and sadder still if anyone could be swayed by what these people think. Must look real appealing to countries trying to decide whether to go democratic.
