He said it was a turning point in his views on Vietnam. Sitting in Cambodia getting fired at, listening to President Nixon lie that there weren't any troops in Cambodia. Only problem, Kerry wasn't there, and Nixon wasn't President. If, as he now says, he wasn't really in Cambodia, what is the point of his Nixon lied story? I was near Cambodia listening to President elect Nixon telling the truth that we didn't have any any troops there and boy, did that profound experience effect my thinking.
