I think we are looking at what some might describe as an ethical deficiency.
Is deliberate distortion for gain ethically defensible?
Or is deliberate distortion merely one of the mirrors through which an objective mind is able to view another mind.
A deliberate distortion for personal gain is a fabrication. It is deception. It is a lie.
And the mind that distorts, that deceives, that lies, is the kind of mind that a voting public should KEEP out of office, especially when one knows the propensity of the mind BEFORE entering the voting booth.
If one knows a candidate's past practices, including his or her deceptions, distortions, lying to improve his or her chances at the ballot box, and then goes into the voting booth and votes for that person who is a proven liar, deceiver, distorter, then the one casting the vote for a known phoney and fake is just as guilty of the deception, the lie, the fraud, as the candidate himself or herself.
And how does the above fit into the grand scheme of this election? Really khot! Don't disappoint me further. Your mind is better than than question indicates. |
