In your hypothetical situation, I'd probably hold my nose and vote for the guy with whom I agreed on the issues... I don't think it's possible to be a thoughtful voter without having to hold one's nose much of the time. I am curious about those who apparently think that this issue trumps everything. My reaction is similar to the one I had to those who claimed that fooling around in the Oval Office trumped everything.
