I'm buying on both washed out TA and washed out Fundies. If these stock continue to washout more, then I will determine down the road whether to buy more or take my loses. Each situation is unique and I'm not locked into any overly rigid criteria.

RtS, you are primarily focused on long term market bottoms. I am not, although I understand your approach and I think it is a very good one for someone like yourself.

My current intentions are to take profits early and often. I also cut my losses quickly when a stock changes it's trading pattern.

Many of the companies I follow have 10% to 20% swings in the matter of a few trading days and I play the volatility when applicable. It's especially tough to do these days with the programs in place trying to keep all "small" players out of the stocks I trade.
