You're still seeing that too? I saw it today on both buys and sells. I will not reveal the stock that it was, but I wanted to buy XYZ at Z.37 with a limit order. It sat for 10 minutes at 1 penny higher. I cancelled. Immediately it fell of by another 8 cents at which time I placed another order which got filled in the little volume frenzy. Ok so now time to think about selling....... Z.57 sounded good to me this hour. So just put in a limit to sell there, kinda as bait. Magically during the markIt rally the price gravitated right to Z.56 bid, Z.57 ask. Where of course it sat for my patience level of 10 minutes. So again I cancel. Well I guess that f'd up somebody who was selling in front of me, probably based solely on where a large retail order sat, probably frontrunning my shares as well but that is another story. Immediately set off a mini-volume frenzy with the cancel, and got Z.64 for my sell price. All for playing their stupid little price collusion computer game.

BTW. You are crazy. None of this perceived manipulation ever happens in real life. <g> 20% drops on little volume are normal everyday rational markIt events, its called markIt seeking a proper valuation. Analyst rock! Bank of India rules!!
