TI announced .18 quite a while back, but it was pretty well recognized as empty hype. Memories will get there first--maybe on 300mm wafers in '99. IBM makes the full PPC line and the R-6000 chips, but MOT is alone or the big leader in the potentially much higher volume embedded-PPC stuff. Believe the design center is still jointly run and that the new (.25m?) processors are now rolling out of both fabs.
