Dizzy, nice for someone who doesn't understand elementary business aspects or politics.

Elroy, short shelf-life only in the sense that they don't keep their technological edge very long. Other companies are still coming up with competitive products. They play cutthroat pricing and other companies give them a look rather than the top dog. Maybe that's why other exec's are telling Chambers they don't know if they're going to pay the big bucks he wants when they can go elsewhere and pay less.
