ShiftyVets represent the ignorant, bigoted, dishonest hostility of the far right. To them there is no middle ground in life. You are either 100% right or 100% wrong and the USA and far right can never be anything but 100% right about anything, including a disasterous, dishonest war like Vietnam.

Bush and Cheney are taking the same approach with Iraq. Because Kerry only wanted to disarm Saddam the responsible well-prepared way and invade as a last resort, they state that he is AGAINST the war, then call him a hypocrite when he says he was FOR authorizing military force.

This simple-minded black vs. white attitude is highly unrealistic and dishonest. It is not what we need in the White House. It is also hypocritical as Bush and Cheney have compromised, flip-flopped and contradicted themselves on many things.
