Copper inventories: LME 81,750 tonnes; 7/11-8/11/04 change -15,500 tonnes NYMEX 72,228 tons; 7/11-8/11/04 change -17,987 tons The rate of decline in inventories continues to moderate. At this rate it will take 4-5 months to reach zero. I'm guessing the price will climb to a point where the drain on inventories stops.
