"I want you to post your reasons for voting for Bush here, not just slamming Kerry about his hero status etc."

The issue is very simple and basic. I believe that a lower tax economy will generate more wealth for the overall good than a higher tax economy. I believe a less regulated economy will generate more wealth for the overall good than a more regulated economy. I believe that the constituents of each party have a strong pull. The constituents of john kerry are, imo, destructive to the economy - specifically - trial lawyers and teachers unions.

Let me be more specific. Regulations that are clear and uniformly enforced are not a problem. Regulations that are ambigous and are litigated infinitly are a problem.

Very simple. Very fundamental. Events of 30 years ago are relevant only because the candidate(s) want them to be.
Fringe issues are relevant only because candidate(s) want them to be. Neither extreme will be legislated into law so they are essentially irrelevant.

In many ways Bill Clinton was right - it is the economy stupid. Two of the reasons for Clinton's success were NAFTA and GATT. These brought competition into the market place and allowed Greenspan to pump the money supply. Kerry opposes each.

Very simple. Very clear.

Bob
