I told you to simply google "Vietnam" "atrocities" and see what shows up.....does that scare you? Do you think you might learn something that might upset your beliefs????? That is my argument....I don't intend to educate you every step of the way.... Do the search and get back to me if you have disputes with anything.... The information proofs they were common if they document tactics used routinely by our military, eg H and I fire, ie Harrassment and Interdiction. This was random artillery fire into villages all through the night without regard to who was in the village...most times women, children, and old people were living possibly along with active enemy.... this sort of thing resulted in many uneccessary civilian casualties....the Swift Boats would routinely strafe villages without regard to who may be in them... Ever heard of Operation Phoenix???? Look it up... And btw, Kerry, in his congressional testimony, wasn't singling out the Swiftboat crews, he was making blanket statements....
