I've expressed many times that if Dems could actually come up with a candidate who was as strong on fighting the terrorists' as GW Bush...

In the past month, we have had reports coming out of Pakistan about the arrest of the terrorists. These terrorists have been in Pakistan all along. They were on Musharraf's radar screen for the past two years. But Bush chose to keep them under surveillance while he chose to finish whatever is it he wanted to do in Iraq. even today he is closing in on Najaf and mullah Al-Sadr. All that Al-Sadr has said is that the US should leave the US and leave Iraq to the Iraqis.

So in light of the above, BUsh is going after someone who is demanding the end of US occupation not end to the fight on terrorism. The real fight against terrorism is in the Pakistan Afghanistan border and beyond into Pakistan. And how many US troops we have ther and what progress are we making in that theatre where actual terrorists are?

So what war on terrorism is Bush waging. He gave up two years ago.
