Suma, Bush's record is what it is. Bush filed a 180, it's all out there. We know what he was doing at the time, and if it wasn't glorious, it wasn't shameful either. Bush isn't the one who has claimed to be ferrying CIA agents into Cambodia, let's remember that.

My suggestion, everyone did what he had to do at the time and if there were irregularities and things were not kosher then Kerry should have been exposed as a fraud BEFORE NOW

And if Kerry were a Republican, it certainly would have been. The fact that no reporter wanted to take a hard look at the Nam record that Kerry was putting front and center on his campaign speaks volumes about the kid glove treatment he's been getting from the press. The obvious way to settle these charges is for Kerry to also file a 180 - why has no reporter asked him to do so?

Someone must have believed he earned the metals as they don't hand these out gratuitously

But we've already heard from several vets on the ability of the well connected to get medals under dubious circumstances. It's pretty clear that Kerry went seeking those medals and did not just get them handed out to him.
