Karin, I am what people call a "seed immigrant". I did not need two people to vouch for and stand guarantee for my financial support for immigrating to the US. I am a practicing professional with a very advanced degree in my field. I don't have to be worried about being unemployed. I never have and feel proud that I have never had to draw on the welfare system.

But like other Democrats I do have a heart and I do not wear "religion on my sleeves." As a Democrat I donate to causes and feel for those who do not have jobs and neither do they have any choice to seek employment overseas, since they were born here and are of humble means. My profession allows me to go anywhere in the world and sell my skills for a price that I ask. But what about the sons and daughters of the soil?

Why has this President adopted policies to hurt his own countrymen in this way by letting greedy capitalists take jobs out of this country. What cheaper goods are we talking about? Who would have the money to buy those cheaper goods if people do not have jobs? Who can afford to patronize those small businesses and "mom and pop" businesses if the patrons do not have the jobs and the money to do so?

So US citizens like Lazarus-Long is a disgrace to this country. I am a US Citizen bt choice. I an not sure about you but Lazarus_Long is a citizen by chance.
