FOCUS Enhancements opens European headquarters
Leading the PC-to-TV conversion/convergence revolution into Europe
WOBURN, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 30, 1996--FOCUS Enhancements Inc. (NASDAQ:FCSE, FCSEW)(BSE:FCS, FCSW) announced today its expansion into the European market place, opening its European headquarters in Leiden, The Netherlands.

FOCUS's European headquarters will be managed by Pierre Esneau, who comes to FOCUS with an impressive professional background. Esneau was the European director of marketing for SyQuest Technology Inc. He joined SyQuest in 1991 as European director of the DOS/Windows division -- Sy DOS. In this position, he built SyQuest's DOS/Windows European activities to $14 million in just over 24 months. Prior to joining SyQuest, he held various senior management positions at Kyocera as sales and marketing director, Rodime Eurl as South European sales manager and Texas Instruments (France) as System Division & Consumer Division sales engineer. He received his business degree from l'Ecole De Hautes Etudes Commericales, Lille, France.
Massie continued, "To get a foothold into Europe companies need to adapt to each local market. By providing sales and marketing support to our local distributors along with the services of a technical support department, we feel that this strategy will contribute to our success in the European market. We have developed a technical support hotline with six different languages: French, Dutch, English, Swedish, German and Italian."
