Bush and Rove made a serious mistake in scheduling their convention so late after the Democrats convention. As a trial attorney, I am familiar with the doctrine of "primacy". People are exposed most intensely to a message they hear first. Plaintiffs have an advantage in court because they go first. Kerry used this advantage. That is one reason he is ahead.
