Bush on Larry King: My Republican girlfriend and I were watching and she said he and laura seemed like nervous robots, not even quite human. She said Bush looks like he needs medication. Very unsure of himself until he hits the slogans he's been trained to repeat over and over, and then artificial. Nervous too. Bush is trying to come off soft and likeable with Laura at his side doing half the talking. It's pathetic because with 44% approval ratings and 50% disapproval ratings, Bush now knows American basically doesn't like him. But they do like Laura, so he has to let his wife upstage him and carry the ball. I'll bet she enjoys that after being told to stay in the background for so long.
