To all: any analysis of the bull?

It would perhaps be useful to hear some contrarian or analytic comments since the bull broke out of its cage today.

For my part I have to sit back and wonder a bit (and lick a few wounds). But I do find it suspicious that all of a sudden - interests rates apart - a lot of previously weak stocks all of a sudden come back to life. Is this a technical rebound from an extremely oversold situation? Or have people suddenly got faith and decided the bull will roar right ahead. 5 or 6% in a couple of days either way suggests something unstable here.

Is this bull a "post earnings" phenomenen (the bad news is out of the way), coupled with interest rates, a return of momentum boys, a real vote of confidence. I don't know.

But I would be surprised to see a plateau now and things return to normal. There was some serious damage done technically speaking, leave aside head and shoulders formations, and these don't go away over night.

Any ideas and thoughts,

and furthermore, any ideas about hedging and recouping some of those paper put/short losses?

good luck

dppl
