It looks like the sophisticated short sellers know more than you and I.
Of course, nothing is for sure in the stock market, but I believe that the odds are with the long-term holders of SanDisk.

Do you have any idea how Eastman Kodak fared during the depression of the 1930s? I am wondering if Kodak's fortunes during that time could give us a clue on what's ahead for SanDisk if the economy heads south.

I learned today that advertising is just a waste of money according to the founder of Creative, Inc. (WSJ article today). Creative came out with an ipod-type mp3 player long before Apple. The difference in results is that Steve Jobs spent a lot of money on advertising; Creative didn't. So, I'm quite enthusiastic about SanDisk starting an advertising campaign. The slogan Store Your World In Ours™ is a great one in my opinion.
