Your defense of the rich fat cats is pathetic. This is just the big lie that is going to doom the GOP this year. Of course those who can most afford it have to pay the most. Otherwise we would have exactly what we have now, 2 trillion in deficits in four short yers of Bush. The real whopper is letting the very rich off estate taxes. And don't forget, as Bush himself admits, the rich always have clever accounts and loopholes awayway, so they almost never pay the rate they're supposed to.

I've seen that smoke and mirrors dinner argument before. A club of greedy fat cats paid someone to think it up. The real message with Bush is there is no free lunch. Who's going to pay off the tremendous Bush deficits, the struggling families whose wages and health care have gone down under his (lack of) leadership. Government for the rich and by the rich does not work. Neither does energy regulation by the energy business. That results in the prices you see at the pump. Sheer greed and larceny.
