Andrew, It appears that we have dodged the artillery, but can expect machine gun fire from wind, and rain. Charley veered a little to the east, and it went into central Florida, instead of Tampa Bay. So far, all we have had is breezy winds, and light rain, but have been warned to expect more of a deluge before it is all over.

Fort Meyers took a really hard lick though. Charley was a caregory 4 when it went ashore there, and messed things up a bit. Damage is still happening as the storm heads for Orlando. There will be no mickey mousing around there tonight.

I know. A lousy pun.
