Here's an idea for the y2k camp - after 2000. When I wrote software, we stored dates as integers, and used an arbitrary date for day 1. I don't recall if we used signed integers, but my recollection is that most of those programs will run into trouble about year 2060 (1970 +2^15 days). So in another 60 years, they'll have more work to do, at least if any of my programs are still around. <VVVBG>
