Kerry knows what he's doing. The reason he's got Bush down on the mat is that he's been stealing moderate-conservative voters from him. So far Nader is no threat. So the left flank is safe. Bush meanwhile has been playing to rightwing crowds that are so already won-over that they all sign pledged of allegiance to one-party rule before they enter.
