Bush has been President for 4 years almost. Hitler took power in 1933. By 1937, Germany had quit the League of Nations, Hitler had persuaded President Hindenburg to sign Article 48, an "emergency" decree authorizing Hitler to suspend all civil rights, arrest (and execute) any suspicious person, the non-Nazi press was outlawed, the Reichstag essentially grants Hitler total control by empowering him to make laws for the Reichstag ,Jews had been legally made 2nd class citizens at best, the SA had been slaughtered, The Racial Laws had been decreed, the concentration camps were operating, the murders in them were well under way, and the Reich gov't had taken over unions. The Nazi Party had been made the only legal party in Germany, and all further elections had been cancelled. I DEFY anyone to show any equivalency.
