Thanks for the laugh! I couldn't have made the point better. I buy my
groceries were I can get the best price. Last year I had my eye operated on and drove past 6 hospital to get to the surgeon I wanted to perform the procedure. People keep forgetting who the target population is.
Just for fun, let me quote you a section of Kentucky Revised Statutes.
"The board shall have the power to refuse to grant, issue, or renew any license to practice optometry, to revoke or suspend any license to practice optometry, to place any optometrist upon terms and conditions of probation, to limit the license privileges of an optometrist, or to issue a private or public reprimand for any of the following causes:... (i) Practicing as an itinerant, peddling from door to door, establishing a temporary office, or practicing optometry outside of or away from his regular office or place of practice."
Funny, what use to be consider unethical and unprofessional, today is consdered okay if it increases shareholder value.
